Lakeview Golf Course is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Mitchell, South Dakota.
Lakeview first opened for play in 1927
The course is easy to walk. It is consistently ranked as one of the top 10 courses in South Dakota and is on the state rotation for championship tournaments.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 7105 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5763 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 12, a par-5 that plays to 609 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 3, a par-3 that plays to 158 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 5, a 433-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at La Purisima Golf Course is # 13, a 169 yard par-3.

I drove up on Wednesday morning hoping to get a time. There were only a few others playing. The special rate of $26 w/cart for seniors was good until 1:00. Staff was friendly. A very nice and well stocked shop with snack bar. Nice practice areas. Mostly flat layout, but with a good variety of holes. White tees were plenty of challenge. Outstanding condition, fairways and greens. Probably the best overall conditioned course I have played in a long while. And, the price was unbeatable. Played by myself and got around quickly.
